BDC Recording.

Hi

is there any wayto convert the recording into abap program directly.

I understand that we can download the recording and then upload it again into an abap program.

however the uploaded program is just the copy of the recording without any performs.

Is there any way that we can convert the recording into a bdc program.

in the SHDB Tcode select the recording and go to EDIT - > Create Program (SHIFT + F5)

Hi

From SHDB screen once you finsih your recording, Save it and select that Recording and from the menu Press CREATE PROGRAM button.it will create automatically the BDC program.

Just format/change little bit that program and use it.

yeah u can , in SHDB --->after doing saving the recording , come to main screen --->here u will find option to Create Program from the recording.

<b>after clicking Create Program Push button , u will get one pop-up to assign program name , here u have to select 2 radio button (transfer from recording ).</b>

hi,

go to transaction SHDB.select the recording which u want to convert it in to program and click on the PROGRAM button on the application toolbar. u will get a pop up window .give a program(ZABC)... name and select radio button transfer from recording.tis will convert ur recording into program directly.

Hai,

Yes you can create ABAP program aotomatically as soon as you record it.

After recording,(from shdb transaction) come back twice,Then Press Enter and then Choose the Recording name and Click on Prgram name and proceed to save it.
