Hi Suresh,

Welcome to SDN

In this FM all parameters are optional. HOLDDATE parameter keeps the hold date.

The other optional parameters are:

Client: Client

DEST: target system for ODC

Group: Session name

HOLDDATE: Session locked until specified date

Keep:Indicator to kepp processed sessions

User:Batch input user

Record:Indicator ('BI' recording)

Prog:Creating Program

Hi,

Just go to SE37, give BDC_OPEN_GROUP there and go with display. Now go with 'Import' tab and you should see a 'Optional' column. In this column if the parameter is checked, it means it is Optional.

Welcome to SDN.

ZFor this FM all the parameters are optional. You can actually check t your self.

Goto SE37, look for the function module,

in the inport tab you will an option optional. if its is checked then it is optional.

in your case all the it is checked for all the parameters.

in se37 if u enter bdc_open_group and go with diplay mode

in that import parameters u will find that all the parameters r optional parameters

if u find it useful plz mark the points
