i have a requirement for changing usefull life at as02 .

i have two depriciation areas in both the areas i have to change the life?how can i do it

if possible plz attach a code which will help me out

and how should i form the excel or text local file for uploading.

plz help

use the bapi

BAPI_FIXEDASSET_CHANGE

Or

try FM ASSET_MASTERRECORD_MAINTENANCE with I_TRTYP (transaction type) parameter = 'L' (Delete).
