Hello

When i use BD64 tcode i see some model views are highlighted and some are not highlighted. why are we having some highlighted and some not? Which step should be done first.distribute the model view first and then generate the partner profile or generate the partner profile first and then distribute the model view?

Thanks

hi ,

You need to generate the partner profile first as that needs to be in place for performing any communication between SAP - SAP or SAP - non SAP system

So after you have generated your model view , generate the partner profile for the same .

Thanks

Hi Heng,

Create a model view in BD64.Then generate the partner profeles and then distribute the model view.

U r seeing some highlighted and some not highlighted becoz,if u r a sender then the model view will be highlighted,if u r a receiver it won't be highlighted.

Hello

Thankyou. When two systems do both send and recieve, then which one should be sender and which one should be reciever. I mean who should create the model view and distribute? If we create the view and distribute then we will be the source and our model view will be highlighted rite? If other party create the model view and distribute then it will be not highlighted in our system. So how to decide which one should be creating and distributing if the system both give and take messages?

Hi Heng,

i will give one example.

i have two clients.

1>800 2>810

1>I want to send from 800 to 810.So 800 will be the sender and 810 will be receiver. When we create model view there we specify that 800 is the sender system and 810 will be the receiver system. So in 800 client u will see the model view will be highlighted and in 810 client u can see it won't be highlighted. One thing u remmember when u distribute ur model view then only it will be seen in the receiver system.
