BARCODE extra character read in scanner

HI

I am using BC_CD39. There is an extra character read (ex after the barcode A is attached) in the scanner when i scan.

Any ideas as to how to fix it.

HI

i hav encountered the same problem..but i used 128 barcode..make the field UCC Check digit to null (it would have been set 'X')...try it, might be helpful

I have the same sort of issue. We are upgrading to 5.0. We had ## in our smartforms. I applied OSS notes 950592 and 890408. This fixed the ## marks but now I am getting 3 extra characters in front of the data (delivery number) when scanning one of the barcodes. Prior to the OSS notes being applied, even though the scan of the barcode produced all ## marks, we only had 10 characters (delivery number field size). Now we have 13 characters. No other changes were made to the system or the fonts or the smartform.

Any ideas?
