hi guys...

i have doubt in bapi and user exits.....

i want to do some changes in standard tcode va01 like addon table entry creation etc....

now the pbm was that

how to idendify whether using bapi or user-exits?

if it is badi ...why the same functionality not available in user-exits?

if it is user-exits ...why the same functionality not available in badi?

Hi,

You can add your own functionality to VA01 by using userexits or BAdi's. There is not at all any identification what to use i.e either userexit or BAdi. You can use any of these two.

For multiple implimentations SAP has developed BAdi's. yoyu can use standard BAdi BADI_SD_SALES to add your own functionality.

In case of userexits you have lot of userexits and you have to search the required exit which satisfies your requirement.
