BAPI upload character data

Hi,

I am uploading character data in a input file using the Business object BUS1088 using LSMW. I am able to generate the IDOCs but when the IDOCs are posted at the inbound, I am getting an error 51 'application document not posted'. Can someone figure this out.

Hi Raju,

Pls check the IDOC # with status 51 in Inbox through txn <b>WE05</b>. In status record display, you will find the reason for error. Probably some field could not have been determined leading the error.

it says internal error. what could be the reason. what is our partner type in this case. is it a logical system(LS) or a user(US)? thanks

Hi Raju,

It will be LS(Logical System). Also check if you have given correct Partner # which will be your logical system.

Hi Raju,

There will be some more text stating the reason for rejection alongwith "Internal Error". In your case, LS should be US since you are using LSMW for sending the IDOC to application. Pls check.

I tried with partner type LS and I am getting an error 51. It says only internel error. Can any one please let me know the problem.
