BAPI to create customer master data using XD01

Hi Experts.

I got a task to upload 1 million customers into sap system through XD01 Tcode from the legacy system. I am working on ECC 6.0.

which BAPI's are useful in mycase? and i just need to populate personal and address details only....

BAPI_CUSTOMER_CREATEFROMDATA or BAPI_CUSTOMER_CREATEFROMDATA1.

Is there any BAPI or some other means for mass update?

Can you assist me?

BAPI_CUSTOMER_CREATEFROMDATA1 should be good for you, else u can use BDC standard RFBIDE00

I have forgotten to add some thing to my query.. I need to create the customers using external number range..

Thanx for your reply. The thing is the above said BAPI does not suit for external customer number range and also does not have any structure to accomadate account group of cutomer (KTOKD field).

Thats the problem.
