BAPI- steps to be followed after changes in BAPI

Hi friends,

i need a help regarding BAPI. we have a BAPI which has been already developed but we need to make some changes in the BAPI. My doubt is do we need to follow the steps again ie.unrelase it and go to SWO1 and add the function module as a method and use EDIT->Release->to be implemented and to be released and GENERATE the function module.

But after making the changes the function module doesnot allowing me to unrelease it .it is in disable mode.

can anyone help me regarding this or any one explain me what is the procedure to be followed if we make any changes in BAPI.

Hi,

Once you release the BAPI then any other chages u need to create new BAPI only with new version and add it in SWO1.

Hi,

Once u released the BAPI. we can not make changes. so we need to create new BAPI and set it in SWO1 like new only.
