BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 / Settlement Rules / Account Assignment

Hi I am creating a sales order using bapi BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2.  Is there a way using this BAPI that I can create a settlement rules?  If not can this BAPI or another function modules be used to change it after the order is created?  I've looked through the posts and can't really find the answer.  I hate to go back to BDC!

These don't appear to be helpful.  The process I am trying to replicate is a VA01 / VA02 - where I would create an SDI settlement rule that would link this sales order to contract (also a sales order).
