BAPI_QUOTATION_CREATEFROMDATA2 - Creating SD-BOM

hi all,

i am using the BAPI_QUOTATION_CREATEFROMDATA2 to create a quotation with a bill of material in it. i am posting the bom header as well as the components. i am posting the components because on these positions i do have the price conditions.

the problem now is, that va21 explodes the bom and in the end i do have my component positions twice... does anybody know how to suppress the standard explosion ?

Have you tried defining a unique Item Category with Structure Scope 'E' - Structure from Customer_Function (product selection)

and using User Exit EXIT_SAPFV45S_001.
