bapi_pr_change does note delete account assignments

Hi everyone,

I am trying to delete account assignments with bapi bapi_pr_change, but instead of been deleted, the account assignments is just updated with deletion flag 'X'. At the same time the bapi is acting as if the account assignment is still part of the item and considers its quantity.

I see that the same problem has been posted once before (), but there are no answers.

I searched everywhere a note or something suggesting that deletion of account assignments is not possible.

It seems it was a program error. Sap released note 1510700 ( BAPI_PR_CHANGE: account assignment failure ) to address the problem.

I am having the same issue as you have described in your post. I tried searching for note 1510700 as you mentioned and I get the message "The requested SAP Note is either in reworking or is released internally only " from SAP.

Is there any other resolution for this issue?

Hi Kameliya,

I am facing the same issue described in your original post.  As of today, OSS note 1510700 still shows as "Document is not released".  I also did not find any related OSS notes by searching in the SAP support portal.  Do you have any additional information you can share on how to resolve this issue?

As a side note, I have to use BAPI_PR_CHANGE to change/delete the multiple account assignment (rather than using BAPI_REQUISITION_CHANGE) because I am updating material and service PRs.

Hmm strange. I opened the note and it states

Released On	23.08.2011 15:01:25
Release Status	Pilot Release

The corrections are also available.

I searched the note directly by number on http://service.sap.com/notes. If that will make any difference.

Thanks for the quick response.  I am searching for the OSS Note the same way.  However, if the release status is "Pilot Release", it must only be available for a select few people/companies--and obviously that does not include me.

I have submitted my own ticket with SAP to ask about this issue, so I will see what they say.

Hi,

SAP responded to my ticket and gave me access to the pilot note 1510700.  I have implemented it in our development environment without issue, and now I have the ability to delete a MAA line using BAPI_PR_CHANGE.

In order to delete a line, I have to change the percentage distribution for the remaining lines, so that they total 100%.  Then, I have to set the deletion indicator for the MAA item to be removed in PRACCOUNT and PRACCOUNTX.  I do not have to adjust the percentage of the line being removed.

we are facing the same problem and the note mentioned (1510700) is still not available at SMP.

Could you solve the problem ? Or have any hints for me ?
