BAPI_PO_CREATE1 in ECC 6

Hi.

I am able to create RO for services using BPI_PO_CREATE1 in version 4.7. But when trying with same data in ECC 6, it is giving error as "No instance of object type purchaseorder has been created".

What could be the reason? Is this BAPI not compatible in ECC6?

Pls help urgently.

Hi

This is compatible in ECC 6.0 also. But, I think there is some change in the structures. Could you go through the documentation of BAPI in SE37. First test it from SE37 to know what is to be passed which you can then call in the program.

Check the value against the variables MESSAGE_V3, MESSAGE_V4 for the error message. Definately it should contain some field name. Then check the data against that field and correct the data accordingly.
