BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE

Hi All,

I am using the BAPI 'BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE'to post a goods receipt for an inbound delivery. The GR is created successfully and a material document number is also being generated but when i go in the transaction 'VL32N' the 'Post Goods Receipt' push button is still enabled and the field 'TotalGdsMvtStat' is not updated.Am i missing out on something?

Maybe yo have postprocessing errors. Check COGI transaction.

I checked COGI transaction but there are no errored goods receipt.

Sorry for some bad news...

If you're using MM-Functions (MB01 / MIGO / BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE) for GRs of inbound delivery there is NO update of the "Goods-Movement-State" in the inbound-delivery !!

We had (have) this problem to and ther's no chance to have stat-updates when using MM Goods-Inwards funtionality.

What you could do is using the VL32N. Then it should work !

Thanks this information helped a lot . Are there any other function module other than 'BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE' which would do a Goods receipt ?

HI !

Yes... there is the MB_CREATE_GOODS_MOVEMENT to do so but it works similr to the BAPI...

If you'd like to use MB_CREATE_GOODS_MOVEMENT - please read the docu of it.

There are not BAPIs for inbound deliveries ... sorry.
