BAPI/ function module to create material pricing condition records

Hi

I am looking for a BAPI/ function module that would create material pricing condition records given the condition type and the condition table that we intend to use .

We need to build an ongoing interface from an external system to R3 to maintain material pricing condition condition records in R3 based on data on the external system - one obvious solution is using BDC - on VK11/ VK12 - but I am trying to get away from using a BDC -

1. Is there any BAPI/ function module ? Or is there a std SAP program ?

2 . Alternatively if the above is not available , can we use idocs - what idoc / msg type ?

Thoughts, previous experienced in this area - that is shared is highly appreciated.

You can use the bapi BAPI_PRICES_CONDITIONS..
