BAPI for posting account document

Hi gurus,

I am trying to post an accounting document using BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST and I am getting this error " Account 201112 in company code 1000 cannot be directly posted to"

Can you please tell me where I am doing a mistake,.

The error tells you exactly what the problem is. Some accounts cannot be directly posted to. Pick a normal expense or revenue GL instead.

It looks like this account is some kind of reconcialtion account e.g. customer reconcilation. You can't post directly to this type of account because SAP internally post this account.

If you try to post from FB01 directly with this account, you will still get this error.

Try with some other account.
