bapi for BOM

hi ,

Is there any BAPI avaliable to create BOM and the import parameter of bapi should have all the fields in CS01 . I found the bapi "BAPI_MATERIAL_BOM_GROUP_CREATE" .

But it does not support all the fields in CS01.

Is there any way or any other bapi for this.

Raj,

I've got some experience with BOMs and BAPI. However in version 4.6 there is no BAPI aviable however there are functions that are remote enable e.g. CSAI_BOM_CREATE.

Hi there... can you please help me...

I'm creating BOM by using the BAPI_MATERIAL_BOM_GROUP_CREATE..

I can still receieve errors... such as:

Error when checking the data of the object type=BOM / Id=SIMPLE1 of group Id=BAPI_SMP_COL1

Generation not supported for change Object

Generation not supported for change Object

No instance of Object type BOMGroup has been created. External Reference.

Can you me an idea on what the error is all about...?

Hi,

We are using the same BAPI for BOM creation we get input as an Idoc.

we facing the problem like

W BAPI1080 028 Error/warning when checking the structure of the BOM group with ID=

A BAPI1080 013 Item ID= has been assigned to variant ID several times (FC = )

can you pls share ur solution with us.
