BAPI Creating New Batch Numbers

I have the BAPI creating batch numbers. However, when I write the new batch number to the custom table it is blank. It seems that the batch create lags behind the programs logic. I have tried many things...BAPI COMMIT and WAIT parameter.

Any suggestions? Thank-You.

Is the BAPI that you have BAPI_BATCH_CREATE? If not , try using this BAPI.
