BAPI ALM ORDER MAINTAIN - Component

Hello All,

I need to update - Materials / Qty inside the components of an order(IW32).

Item category / plant / Storage loc will be picked automatically.

Please let me know what all parameter is mandatory here.

When i passed these 2 values the components details are not getting updated.

From structure BAPI_ALM_ORDER_COMPONENT, You will need to pass RESERV_NO, RES_ITEM, RES_TYPE, MATERIAL, Quantity.

when i update the material in the components tab then save it. One enhancement changes the item to imediate - then only reservation number will be generated.

Any other way ?

Is it mandatory field ?
