BAPI-ALE interface IDOC hierarchy

All,

is it possible to work with parent segments when creating a BAPI-ALE interface using BDBG?

I found transaction BDBP to implement my hierarchy. I regenerated the BAPI-ALE interface, but the hierarchy is not transferred to the interface.

Can you please let me know what Hierarchy are you trying to change ? Is it the IDOC segments which have been generated through the BAPI ALE ?

Once you have the method added to your BAPI BOR object you will have to delete and add it again

and then set the object to release and regenerate.
