This will be triggered while creating and saving a new material.

Did you see the documentation of this BADI, I think there is pretty good information there about the functionality.

Using MM01/MM02?

Is it applicable even for tcodes MM41/MM42?

Hi Winnie,

I dont know the exact transaction but its getting triggered from where we maintain the Chapter Id & Material Number(will be stroed in table J_1IMTCHID), if you have any MM Functional consultant with you, he can tell you the transaction.

However will let you know the tcode soon.

Hello Winnie,

MM41 & MM42 doesn't have this BADI. However it does have 2 user exits MGW00001/00002. As u have not specified what purpose r u loking out for the exit it will not be possible to tell you if these user exits will be of any help.

Probably you can check the below two user exists....

MGW00001 Material Master (Retail): Additional Data

MGW00002 Material Master (Retail): Number Assignment

Let me know if any issue exist.
