badi issue

hi guys,

i have a issue in my badi like.

1. i want to call a executable program inside my badi.

2. how can i trigger a badi when i press some button like SAVE button on VA01 transaction.

Hi,

The location of BADI call he decided by the SAP, so you will not be able to call it on your own condition. At the most you can attach your own implementation to that BADI so that it gets executed from a place predefined by SAP.

Hello Mohammed,

One things are not clear...

R u planning to execute ABAP program or an external executable program from BAPI?

Assuming u want to execute the external program and u have the BAPI with u then u can look for User exit in VA01 & then call the repective BAPI.

Hi,

1) Plz check the is the any Screen badi for VA01.

2) Identify the Fcode for the button in VA01.

3) put the code in corresponding method of the badi

I hope the following BADI will work for you.

1) BADI name : EHS_DG_002

2) Method Name : GET_FCODE

3) Find Fcode in SAVE button of VA01 Transaction and implement code as you wish.
