Background task taken time to execute workflow

Hi Experts,

I am doing an FI workflows there is one synchronous back ground step to post the invoice when user clicks to post it is taking 20 mins time to complete the workflow .

Please advice me how to fix this problem.

Hi,

Kindly contact the Basis team they will put trace against the process id.

In the trace u can find where the exact problem is persists.

Hello,

Please trace the process to understand problem...

ST05 -> select all check boxes which are SQL trace, Enqueue, RFC trace -> active trace with filter -> put user name (it will trace every activity done with your user id).

Hi,

Check if any time has been mentioned in Requested start tab of particular step in workflow.

Hi Raja,

I checked there is no deadlines declared . it is running back ground task and time taken 15 to 20 mins to complete the workflow.
