background job

Hi,

can you let me know how i can find if a program is scheduled as background job or not.

For ex i want to check it for the program: rsconn01.

hi go SM37--->execute it ...it will shown the program names scheduled in the back ground.

it does not show the program, it only shows the job name.

A program can be scheduled with different job name.

Moreover ther are many job names and it is difficult to find out the program name by clicking on the job name.

hi check this..

if you scheduled directly from the se38---then the job name and the program name is same..

or if you scheduled by the function module it will be different

goto sm37

put job name = *

username = * ( put the name of user if u know )

give some date range

and execute it.

U ll get the list of job now look for the prog .

It will probably be faster to also enter the ABAP program name in SM37 (under "Job Step"), so the result list will contain only jobs for the program in question.

Go to SM37 and program name under ABAP Program name in Job Step
