Background Execution - Output from SPOOL

Hi,

When I executed one of my program in background, the output will be stored in spool where I have more than 255 characters per line. So while getting the output from Spool, I am only able to view 255 characters, the remaining columns in my report was truncated. Is there any way to store more than 255 characters in SPOOL?

Like any settings required?

Change your print format from default X_65_80 to X_65_255 and run your program in background

Still I was able to see only 255 chars in Spool, even though I changed format. Any guidelines?

If you click on the "Raw" button when viewing the spool, you will see all of the line. This may not be what you are looking for though.
