Hi,
I have created a Transaction. I have defined One Field on the First Screen. I have provided Validation for that field too. When there is error on that Field, I am throwing Error Message in the PAI of the First Screen.
This makes the Field Disabled, though the control stays on the same screen and displays Error Message.
Also, the Back Button is not working in this scenario. I am getting stuck.
Please help resolve.
Thanks and Regards,
Ishaq.

Hi,
Try putting your validation module within a CHAIN...ENDCHAIN block linked to the field you are validating.
Also set your BACK PF-STATUS as an exit command and define an exit user-command module in your PAI.
There is more information about this sort of thing in the on line help. You would be looking at something like:-
process after input.
module user_command_0100 at exit-command.
chain.
field: zp2p_atp_hd-price,
zp2p_atp_hd-meins module scr0100_price_qty_entered.
endchain.
field zp2p_atp_hd-matnr module scr0100_matnr_entered.
module user_command_0100.Gareth.

Hi,
Instead of using an error message, try using a popup box. And set the PF status, for your Back button to work properly.

I need to display Error Message, not popup.
Also, the Back Button is working fine, if there is no Error Message. But When there is Error, it is not working.

Hello,
You need to associate the Functional Type E to the button in the status GUI and use in the PAI MODULE <module> AT EXIT-COMMAND .
Regards.
