AWKEY value

Hi,

I have one doubt regarding BKPF table.

Is there any chance to have AWKEY value is blank in BKPF table or VBKPF table?

hi

the value of AWKEY is a combination of these fields namely :BELNR BUKRS GJAHR

try concatenating these values in w_awkey.

yes they have a value and canot be left blank like that.

I donno for which reference are you looking for or for which type of condition?? But there are lot of conditions on which the AWKEY will be space.

If we go to the basics of AWKEY - Reference Document Key - Calling Application Key

If an accounting document is posted via the interface in Accounting, the sending application transfers a unique reference. It consists of object key and object type. The object key consists of a reference document number and a reference organizational unit.

Example: 1000007899 00011996

AWKEY value in BKPF table cannot be blank,

it must have some value.

hi,

awkey(Reference key ) are generated with Document number refrence so i guess there will be no blank awkey in production server...for the above tables.

The reference key can never be empty.
