Authorizations in EP

Can someone suggest what authorizations should be given to the functional consultant who is working on integrating ESS in EP to ECC system. Do we assign the System Admin role ?

ECC 6.5

Jay,

For functional consultant/developer - you may need to give Content admin portal role. For Basis guys - System Admin & Security - User Admin could be given. Combination of all this can be given via the Administrators portal group.
