Authorization issue

Hi,

This is basis issue so i am posting in technical forum, when the user run the customised reports(alv), after running the reports they want to download data into excel there they r facing a problem "Authorization problem - Profile S_BDS_DS ?" , is any body suggest how to over come this?.

Hi ,

If they do have access to creat/download data into Excel , then u need to add this Authorization Object S_BDS_DS to their Profiles.

Hi SK,

You have to add authorization object S_BDS_DS to the user role (tcode PFCG). Change value of activity to 01, 03. Save and generate the role.
