Authorization for Report Painter

Hi,

we have a report in report painter with Company Code selection. May I know how to restrict the company code selection such that userA will see only company codeA data?

i see there's an authorization group. may i know how to use the authorization group? may i have the detailed steps? thanks.

create auth object - SU21 Transaction maintain company code here

Create profile - PFCG Transaction and assign auth object here.

assign profile into user maintaince - SU01

ask ur basis how to assign auth object to report painter..

ZL Goay,

Follow these steps.

1. Go to T-code <b>SE54</b> there is radio button for authorization group just click it and create. authorization group say ZGOAY

2. You can assign this to your report painter - go to header information and press F4 you should get 'ZGOAY' there.

3. Assign this object group to the userA (Get help from Security team or BASIS)

You may check the table TBRG for auth object and group relation

in the report painter report header, i created an authorization group ZA1, but i couldn't find it under se54 authorization group display list.

using se54, i created an authorization group ZA2, but couldn't find it in the report painter report header too.

has anyone use report painter to show company code data that user is authorized to see?

at the report painter general data selection screen, how to restrict the company code with a authority check to the user profile?
