Authorisation objects

Hi All,

Can anybody tell me how to create Z authorisation objects for the standard transaction like ME11.

Hi Sagar,

We can create Z authorisation objects using tcode SU21 and SU20.

HOWEVER, the Z authoriation objects will have no affect on standard transactions bcos

the standard transactions use standard auth. objects.

Hi,

You can create an authorization object using su21 tcode. For your tcode you should know what you really want to restrict in these tcode and you need to find data element to restrict it. Please analyse existing authorization objecsts to understand it better.

Hi,

The creation is done by the BASIS team.

you will need to provide them with data elements of the fields to be included in the authorization object.

Else, if u have authorization u can create them in transaction SU21

You need to request BASIS team for this.

Also, your user id will not have authorization to do this on your own.
