suggest to follow a SAP Authorisations course or buy Authorisations Made easy.

Authorizations are given through objects which in turn can be mantained in su24 for transactions.

You need to know what kind of authorization is needed. After that you can mantain the object for relevant t-code in su24. You can also manually add objects in pfcg and provide necessary authorization by giving relevant field values.

What authorization report would you like to have? There are some predefined like RSUSR002, 006 etc.... You might want to check that out

Authorizations can be added from PFCG / Authorization tab / Change authorization data (or expert mode)

Select the auth object and the auth field and add the respective values
