hi abapgurus,
i have configured RFC between a 46c server and 47unicode server.
in 46c server, while configuring RFC for 47unicode system i have given correct LOGON details for 47unicode sytem...
in 47 unicode server, while configuring RFC for 46c system i have given correct LOGON details for 46c server sytem...
so far so good...
now, in 46c server, i goto SM59, select the RFC destination to 47server and press the option TEST CONNECTION----> its working fine...
Actually, when i press option REMOTE LOGON in 46c server (source system), i should enter into 47unicode server(target system) directly.
but, when i press the option REMOTE LOGON, i get an authentication failure i.e., i get connected to the target system (47unicode server) with remote logon screen with wrong USER and PASSWORD details.
i am forced to manually provide USER and PASSWORD details , then i enter into target system (47unicode server).
The same problem exists in 47unicode system too..
What possibly could be the problem????
plz help me out...
thnx,
shivaa.

Please check if 4.7 system has passwords which are case sensitive.
I know in 4.6 version SAP stores the password as all CAPS and is not case sensitive.
