AS01/02 validation

Hi,

I want to put a validation on the Serial Number Field on Asset Data screen (General Data tab),

Have developed a custom Z-Table to compare the values, if it does not matcxh, it throws an error.

But on display of error all the fields on screen get grayed out. It does not allow me to correct the Serial Num. entred.

Have used screen exit : EXIT_SAPLAIST_003

Please help.

In Asset accounting Customizing, there are options for validations and substitutions. (Look with SPRO, or call transaction OACV)
