Article Basic Data Text LTEXT_GRUN is not being copied from Generic to Variant.

Hello Gurus,

I have facing a strange issue, where the Basic Data text along with Inspection text is part of Additional Tab in Article Master. 
Whenever the Generic article's Basic Data text is updated with some value, it is not being copied to its Variant. 

In OMSR the field "Propose field cont." is checked. 
Also, the LTEXT_GRUN is maintained under "Copy Control for Material Master fields". 

Can you please put some light, to make this situation favourable.

I am having same issue.

All set up according guides and note 2537377, but no luck getting text copied.

Read 3479584 - Purchase order text (LTEXT_GRUN) is not copied from a Generic Article to it's Variant  

@arin2018  I'm afraid the first paragraph of the solution contains bad news for you. 'The only reference handling existing for long texts is from an explicit reference article to a newly created article...' so you may be required to look for some BAdI to trigger update.

@liamaurer but this may be your solution as you refer to a note relevant for newly created article.
