Hi,

Select a menu node. If the menu is new, select its header.

Choose Edit --> Insert menu entry --> As subnode or Edit --> Insert menu entry --> At same level.

Look at the below link

well, if you are trying to insert an entry at the same level for first level (root note), it may not allow you. For the first time, you need to create a subnode (Shift+F7). Only after that, you can insert an entry at the same level.

Please reward the helpful entries.

Raman.

hi ,

Menu that we get when we login in the SAP system is our area menu.

By default when we login we login to S000 menu i.e SAP R/3 menu.

they are required when a user does not requires the full menu but only of his concern.

you can see the option in SU01 --> (say change for any user) --> deafults --> start

menu. you can press F4 and check all the area menu available. You can customize your own menu through transaction SE43N. Give S000 in the Area Menu field. Then goto Area Menu --> Copy .give it a name and make the changes according to your requirement. you can delete nodes not required etc..

when you save it it will ask you to create a request. Create a changeable workbench request for this so you can transport it into the required client. Now goto SE10 release the request. Then through STMS you can import it into the desired client.

for details on this topic you can refer
