Archiving Issues

Hi All,

I've the following tables which does not have the archiving objects. I've checked in the transaction DB15. I'm using the SAP system data version as ECC 5.0. Could you any one please tell me what would be the AO or how can I go for the AO of these tables? I've searched in SAP Portal too but no luck. Thanks.

Check VASK transaction for deletion of groups and logs.

Hii..

but how can we archive groups and logs intead of deleting these directly from the sap database. This is because the transaction VASK deletes the groups or logs after archiving only or it directly deletes the same.????

Hi Shamim,

In VASK transaction

Delete after archiving: Log entries (and groups) can only be deleted if the corresponding documents are no longer in the system, that is, they have already been archived.

Only delete logs: Only the logs are deleted; the group headers and items remain intact.

Hi Lakshman,

Archiving the group of deliveries or invoice through VASK was very good information. Do you have any experience in ur project? How to see the archive file? Where is the spool list or job log or session number? Can we store this archived data in store system?
