Can any body pls explain the differences between Application specific DB tables and SAP DB tables

Hi,

SAP DB tables is the collective term used for all the tables existing in the SAP. Application tables are same as SAP DB tables but we talk about them when we specifically talk about a specific appication. Example when we talk about SD, we only talk about VBAK, VBAP etc. Also some times application tables are reffered to the same tables when we talk about storing of data from any transaction.
