appending a structure

Hi all,

I have created a structure (zlfa1) and i want to add this to standard table LFA1.

How should i do.

I tried doing it going to lfa1 and append structure.

Please help.

Hi Ahmed,

Hope u did the same way

1) Go to SE11, give table name LFA1

2) Click on "Append Structure"

3) It will be having a default name , remove that and Give "ZLFA1"

4) Save and Activate, it may give some activation log

5) Go back and see whether the Structure is appended at the end of the TABLE,

activate it again.

Hi

<u>As per SAP recommendation, you should give the name of the Append structure starting with either 'YA' or 'ZA' when using with standard SAP tables, in order to avoid any problems (Name conflicts, as such), when SAP comes with a upgraded version in future.

There I recommend you to rename your Append structure as <b>ZALFA1</b> in this case.</u>
