Append Structure in standard table

Hi All,

i want to add the structure in the standard table:

problem is:

in  crmd_customer_h  standard table i have a 'Z' related append structure , that append structure  contains some un necessary fields , what i did here i deleted the append structure from the standard table and i went to SE14 and activate the standard table then again i create the append structure with the same name(what ever previous i deleted the append structure name) from se11 and now i am trying to add this structure in the standard table for that i click on append structure in standard table and then click the new button and gave the structure name (which is already created through se11) Here Iam Getting the Message like this : the structure name is already existing in the table .

how to rectify this , please tell me the process

Thank u, i got it  but one problem is this structure is not added at the end of the table , in this table some other append structures are also there i want to add my new append structure at the end of the table , but now it is added as last but one position

Hi vsre v ,

After deleting the previous Append  structure, go to SE14 ,, give table name  and select Processing type as "Direct " and then Activate and Adjust database with radio button pointiong towards Save data and then try to activate database table fro mSE11.

now if you add the append Structure with the same name that has bben deleted earlier, it shouuld not give any error "the structure name is already existing in the table " .

i got it but i have a problem , actually my requirement is delete the structure and add the same structure at the end of the table , i deleted and activated and again create the new structure but  it is again sit in the same possition only, how to add the structure at the end of the table?

1) zpdd_changes  2) ztopuploan_resc

zpdd_changes and ztopuploan_resc (these rwo are last append structures as sequence)  here i deleted the zpdd_changes structure and try to create at the end of the table that means after ztopuploan_resc append structure , but after creating again sit in the same possition

Hi,

Try to rename your APPEND STRUCTURE zpdd_changes to ZZPDD_CHANGES.  Here I add character Z.

I think, table sort the append structure by name alphabetically.

i think its depends on any naming (alphabetical order its not sure just i hope).

Hi  Vsre V,

By default Long Types are added at the end of the Table. So if you have Zstructure appended and Long types in same Table then long tyopes will be added at the end and not the structure no matter how recently the Structure is appended or starting alphabet.
