Not sure about transaction.

But you can try with these FM's

<b>RFC_CHECK_DESTINATION or

RFC_CHECK_DESTINATION_ID or

RFC_VERIFY_DESTINATION or

RFC_PING or

RFC_SYSTEM_INFO</b>

Hi,

I did try RFC_PING, but I am getting a response time

in a client when there is no connection between sap and apo instead of saying there is no connection between sap and apo....

i did try the program RSRFCPIN, here also i am getting

the response times , which i should get a message saying there is no connection....

am i missing anything?

Also try Tr.<b>SMGW</b>. It shows you the active connections.

Run prog :RSMONGWY_ALV in SE38..

also check report :<b>RSRFCPIN</b> and <b>SRFCT2TA</b>

Tip : you can go to se38 and pull up the program which belongs tp package = <b>"SRCX ( Development Class for Remote Communication: RFC and RMC )"</b> of Type 1 "Executable"

Hi Saquib,

When I used the report RSRFCPIN and tested in a client in which there is no connection to APO, I did get the response times rather than getting a message " No apo connection established"
