amount words

when i am giving the amount in words its giving ONE BILLION SIX MILLION. i want to convert it to cores and lakhs?

Try using Function Module Spell_amount and give currency as INR. Check the table T015Z in SM30 (TCODE : OBA9 ) for representation of numbers in different languages. i dont think Lakh and Crores are maintained there. have a look at the table and try to maintain it in some other language and give it a try. If this all does not work i think you can use string operations to search and replace words appropriately.
