Difference between ALV grid and ALV list?

Hi,

In ALV Grid, Output is displayed in GRID.In ALV List Output is displayed in List format.

In AVL Grid end-of-page will not give output.In ALV list it will give the output.

If you give print from ALV GRID it will first go to list then from there you have to give print again.

YOu execute a program with ALV Grid and another with ALV List you will find lot of differences.

The uses and implementations are similar for both, but the grid gives you more control over the output. It's also a little more intuitive. To see the difference, open up SE16 and run an open search on table MARA (just for some data to look at). Go to Settings -> User Parameters and look in the Data Browser tab. You can change the display options from SE16 Standard to ALV Grid display or ALV List. Play around with them and you'll see the difference.
