Hi,

there are 9 fields in my final internal table which need to printed in alv. Out of these 9 fields 4 field values gets repeated few times. i want the display some thing like this.

FIELD1 FIELD2 FIELD3 FIELD4

1212 EEE 444 888

FIELD5 FIELD6 FIELD7 FIELD8 FIELD9

112 6565 YYY 099 EWEW

you will not able to get this kind output this in ALV but you can use SORT functionality of ALV to get output in groups.

you need to seperate the data into two tables

table 1 will contain ->

FIELD1 FIELD2 FIELD3 FIELD4

1212 EEE 444 888

FIELD1 FIELD2 FIELD3 FIELD4

6565 GTRF 7823 6409

table 2 will contain->

FIELD5 FIELD6 FIELD7 FIELD8 FIELD9

112 6565 YYY 099 EWEW

133 6560 GGG 777 FDFD

55 6563 DDD 66 UIOO

777 6563 BBB 877 XCDE

FIELD5 FIELD6 FIELD7 FIELD8 FIELD9

110 4565 YED 563 RFT

now u can use hierarchy alv to display output as u described but u need to insert extra field that defines the relation between table 1 and table 2...if u have a relation use it or add a dummy field for logic purpose.

Hi..

If you want to display it header and detail format.. Like from Field1 to Field4 if you want to display it as Header and Field5 to Field8 you want to display it as Detail then you can do the same using the FM given below..

REUSE_ALV_HIERSEQ_LIST_DISPLAY

Or else you can display field1 to field8 in one line by using Sort functionality of ALV..

This may not solve his problem, But may be he will loose some data in output!
