Hello Sourav

Have a look at the sample report <b>BALVHD01</b>. At the beginning there should be no variants around for the report. Therefore, if you choose F4 search help for select-parameter <b>P_VARI</b> you do not get any values.

Run the report and save various variant. Go back to the selection screen and try the F4 help again.

Within the report various function modules related to ALV variants are used.
