hi

i attended one interview he asked me in alv report i scheduled back ground job, then where can i see the out put.

can any one tell me in which transaction we can see the output for that particular programe

Hi

The output you have to see in background ,

go to Transaction code SM36 OR SM37.

You give jobname

job status and

job startcondition.

Hi Ritu,

For all back ground scheduled jobs can be view through SM37 t-code. There you will find all the back ground jobs. Select any one and select spool button. Then it will take you SP01 t-code. Now in that check output.

go to sm37-> execute>get the job name ---> choose spool...

Hi,

You can schedule a background job in SM36 and process it in SM37.

Once you have scheduled the job in SM36 with a job name and the report name and other settings , Release the job and go to Sm37 . Select the job name and give report name.

Now execute and it will show the status of the background job.

Now check the Job name and click on the spool button.

It goes to another screen. then you will have the following:

Spool no. Type Date Time Status Pages Title

BOX 22.04.2008 13:45 - 7 reportname

below Type you will have abox which is nothing but ABAP list. if you click on that you will get the output of the program .
