Hi,
Instead of using FM like REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY or REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY, you can use write statements directly also!

hi Sooness, yes i want to display three information abt a person in the same field catalog. wat i mean is that i want to display all the three info of the person his name designation and fathers name in the same fieldcatalog.
what i mean is i want to print an alv report in that i want to print more thn three feilds of an itab in one column only by this i mean that i want to print a persons name, designation and fathers name in one feildcatalog of alv ie details.
eg in fieldcatalog : details

if you include those in field catalog like this below,

if u give like this u wil get output as
ram mohan softwrae but not like wat u expect
so you can just use write stmt but in alv it is not possible...

I tried to emulate your requirement. In the field catalog I changed the row_pos from 1 to 3 (which is the limitation in this case) and kept the col_pos constant so that it be displayed in one column. However I get a information message stating "Multiple lines are only supported for printing and print view".
