ALV report dropdown box issue

Hi Experts,

i have set up dropdown list with three values for one field using lvc_t_drop type, it was display correctly , my issue is when user choose on value from drop down list eg, agree , their is chance for user to delete any letter from agree in field leve after selection from drop down. i have searched lot and checked standard programs also could not find any solution , is their any property their to Disable the possibility to delete in the field itself, i is ALV grid output .

also... you say there is no example.... what about BCALV_EDIT_06?

Hi Gemini Twin,

I have checked BCALV_EDIT_06 ,BCALV_EDIT_08 and BCALV_EDIT_07 programs but in all this programs we can select the values from drop down and we can delete or insert the letters in that field.

for eg: in this program BCALV_EDIT_06 drop down editable field is UNIT values are KG and G, once we select KG from drop down and we can delete k or g from that KG. thats my issue , i have to disable the deleting entry k or g after selecting values from drop down.
