ALV - Refresh Table Display - not working

HI,

On screen i have got uploaded a container with ALV Control.

The ALV is assigned with the table feesdetail.

call method grid->set_table_on_first display.

filled the table.

now after saving the transaction want to refresh the table display again and hence appended a line next to the above stmt as

call method grid->refresh_table_display.

But no change in output on immediate click of save button.

I have to exit the screen and again do the process from the beginning to see the table data in ALV. Immediately on screen iam unable to view the contents with the refresh_talbe_display method.

What to do and how?

i dont know where r u calling thsi method.

call the method in PBO.

call method c_grid->refresh_table_display.

Yes calling both first display and refresh table display in PBO Module.

But unable to view the updated contents. The recently saved are not viewed immediately. Instead need to exit the screen and comeback again to view it.

debug and checkout whats happening , checkout where the control is going after refres_table_display

in your PAI call this method very first

data: l_valid type c.

call method g_grid->check_changed_data

importing e_valid = l_valid.

and in the end of PAI

call the method <b>REFRESH_TABLE_DISPLAY</b>

module pai.

  call method g_grid->check_changed_data
               importing e_valid = l_valid.
....
.......
------

call method g_grid->REFRESH_TABLE_DISPLAY.


endmodule.

now you will be able to see....

HI

I want a pop up screen to be dispayed on screen when selecting a particular item from the list of selection.

Its coming with ALV Grid.

My requirement is that when i select a list item from the list box a small pop up list must appear that describes the details/history of transactions of that particular selected item.

How to invoke a pop up window on screens.
