There are events on the ALV Grid which will fire specifically for printing, these are PRINT_TOP_OF_PAGE, PRINT_END_OF_PAGE. So, you can write SY-UNAME and SY-DATUM in the top of page event.

Hi Ravi,

Iam able to get into ALV grid. But page up & page down buttons are disabled by default. That is why i came into ALV list. Is it possible to do Top of page & End of page in ALV list?

And also can you tell me why Pageup & Pagedown buttons are disabled in ALV grid? Do i need to write any separated code for this?Iam working on ECC 5.0.

thanks

Well, the PAGE UP and PAGE DOWN buttons should be working by default on a ALV list or a ALV Grid as long as the contents are going beyond the display on the screen. You don't have to do anything.

Are these buttons disabled, I hope you have not removed them from the toolbar using the EXCLUDING option.

The PRINT_TOP_OF_PAGE and PRINT_END_0F_PAGE should work for ALV list as well.

Here is a example of the same
